This is a response to my last post, in which I mentioned that 36% of the total users of my iPhone app are running pirated copies.
Since then, (It has only been one full day), that number has jumped up to 51% of the total users of my app.
Even now that people are pirating my own software, I still stick to my original attitude about piracy: the creators of the content knew at the time of creation that it would, inevitably, be pirated. I think any damage control or anti-piracy should be dealt with by the creators, not law enforcement.
