Symmetry Pro on iPad

Aug 30, 2010 @ 06:27pm

This post is a few days late, but I\'ve finally updated my iPhone app, Symmetry Pro to run on the iPad! It looks great and runs better than ever. Now is a great time to buy Symmetry Pro if you\'ve been delaying it.

Vacation!

Jul 8, 2010 @ 11:28am

I've been on vacation since the 30th, and won't be home until the 18th. My friend reminded me I haven't posted since April so here I am! (Hi Adam!) I'll try to post more when I get home.

Piracy Continues

Apr 28, 2010 @ 08:53pm

This is a response to my last post, in which I mentioned that 36% of the total users of my iPhone app are running pirated copies.

Since then, (It has only been one full day), that number has jumped up to 51% of the total users of my app.

Even now that people are pirating my own software, I still stick to my original attitude about piracy: the creators of the content knew at the time of creation that it would, inevitably, be pirated. I think any damage control or anti-piracy should be dealt with by the creators, not law enforcement.

iPhone App Piracy

Apr 27, 2010 @ 06:51pm

Wow! More than 36% of the total users of my iPhone App Symmetry Pro are running cracked, or pirated, versions of the app, only one day after having been posted on several cracked app aggregators.

Luckily, my app checks home each time it is launched, so I can disable it for cracked users. But who knew piracy rates were so high!?

SQL

Apr 22, 2010 @ 04:52pm

I'm finally taking a course on SQL. I've long been using it for nearly every project I work on, but I haven't ever known how to do complex subqueries or functions.
Hopefully after I make it through this book I can make much more efficient apps!
